Oh, goodie! More photographs! I wish to extend many thanks to my friends Greg & Leslie Cornett for chauffeuring me all around to some of the best birding spots in South Florida. I had a great time birding during this season (late April) in Florida. Migration was in full swing and the birds were quite accommodating…even for some photographs. (I call my newest camera lens “The Bird Disperser”). Haha! Yeah. It usually chases birds away before I can get a photo.
The Dry Tortugas? Ahh. Well. We won’t get there until the next post. I can’t wait to show you some of those pics. The color of the water is an exotic tropical aqua. I get excited just to see the waters! Ok. I’ll stop taunting you. That’s for another post. Key West had more migrants than I had ever experienced there during migration. It is good to be a decent birder, but it is *better* to be lucky!
And let me know what you think of this new gallery format. Keep it? Or scrap it (and go back to the standard format of yesterday’s post)?

Great photos, Greg, especially of the warbler feeding. I like the standard format better, tho – it’s easier to scroll through.
Thanks for your input on the format Suzi (and the nice compliment on the photos, too)
Great to see your cool stuff on line. I was one of the folks on the Tortugas trip, so I can’t wait to see your photos. I had a Couch’s/Tropical Kingbird right here in St Augustine during TS Beryl.!!
Hi Diane,
Yeah, I am *finally* getting around to catching up. It’s fun to re-live all those great moments in such an idyllic setting.
